She looked at the elves, chuckling. "But there is no parade in town! What will there purpose be?" She turned from them, brushing back the hair from her face. "And I suppose I should inquire of the dragons, dampening to the mood though that would be!"

Kayato glared at the girl who was making fun of them but was held back by the hand Sakimaru placed on her shoulder. "Well our men will deal with this army. And we'll handle the dragons Rowland." he said firmly. "But perhaps we should ask Granlow for his assistance as well?"

"No, he is too far away, wasting away in his kingdom. Whatever grace that was there is only saved on the dragoons..." Rowland sheathed his sword. "And the dragons are mine, I have a relationshp with them, their fate is entwined with mine." Rowland wiped the blood off his hand, looking back at the fort. "The king is dead..."

At this news Kayato gasped and Sakimaru looked down. "I'm sorry to hear that." he whispered.

"He got what he deserved, I've never seen a more corrupt king..." Rowland checked to see if he was out of earshot of the soldiers. Having them attack him would be a hinderance. "their next plan of action would be a naval assault, if you're willing to spare the manpower?"

Sakimaru nodded. "As always my army is at your disposal."

"An we will be needing it..."
It was night again, and camps had been set up to accomodate the wounded and weary. Rowland stood at the far end of the camp site, looking out into the dark. As he turned round, a blade pierced his stomach. "You're losing it Rowland..." Rowland grimaced as he pushed back, the blade exiting his body. "Though not that I have to worry..." Rowland replied, grinning happily. The man was cloacked, though in his hand was a legendary katana. "It has been a while...." The man spoke again. "Do not utter my name here, for evil's ears are very large..." Rowland nodded. "So you have come to help." The man shook his head under the hood. "No, to give council. the naval attack will happen closer than you think, a fleet of twenty ships lie docked in their holds, waiting to strike..." Rowland did not look suprised. "So we will have to plan a strategy..." The man laughed. "no, you will..." With that, he dissappeared.

Sakimaru walked around the tents and checked the troops. He had left Kayato asleep in their tent a while ago. He looked around in the dark, a flame glowing in his hand to lit the way.

Lucien gazed at the shadows, sleep refusing to come. Almost he could hear voices, yet he wasn't sure if these were merely memories or a current reality. Sometimes, the line between the two was so faint that he wondered if his mind was decaying. Perhaps it was just that horrid guilt, driving him into madness.

The dim light was emitting from the candle. Rowland had arranged to meet all the leaders, so talk over their battle plans and the naval threat that was looming in even closer. "My only option..." Rowland began. "Is to ask assitance of the drow. The dwarf, who was becomming quite a follower of Rowland, even coughed in his mug. "The drow!? They don't bother us so we shouldn't bother them..." Rowland continued, ignoring the dwarfs claim. "I am sure I could arrange a group together. Using Kayoto's magic we could let a fog decend on their ships when they are out at sea, allowing me, Sakimaru and some others to infiltrate their ships using a smaller boat. We will sabotage the ships, linking them together. When they near our navy, we will use a fire attack, they will be hopeless and staranded, without us ever presenting a target, nor engaging them in reckless combat." Rowland waited for their opinions.
