She smiled at him thoughtfully and graciously, eventually pulling back her hand, though she was rather loathe to.
"So, if you keep these streets," she asked suddenly, though sincerely, "what do you keep them from?" Her curiosity and shame began to simultaneously get the better of her as she thought of whether he guarded this streets against those like her. 'Those like me' repeated in her mind a few times, and as it did, her shame began to become visible, and she turned her gaze from him to the ground.

"Hostiles. Royal guards, assasains, bandits," Jull said, although the answer she sought was obvious. "I wondered wether you and your party were hostiles, but it seems you mean well," he said, attempting a smile.

"If you are asking me if I intend to harm you, I do not," Jull said, meeting her gaze. "It has been a great pleasure meeting you, Mlle Christine Daae. I suppose I should be on my way before I waste any more of your time," Jull said, bowing once more and turning from her.

Jull stopped and turned to her. He had not had a companion for very long. "I have no destination. I do not think you would want to accompany me, for it would benefit you little," He said.
